Finally, the new consolidated window brings together commonly used features in one window, with the ability to customize its sections and save unlimited customized layouts. The MasterWorks EQ was inspired by British large console equalizers and features five bands of EQ filtering, each with four EQ types that mimic both current and vintage EQ styles. The Beat Detection Engine analyzes audio loops and files to locate the beats in the music, which allows users to align imported audio to the tempo of the current project, tighten timing, apply a specific rhythmic feel and more. DP has several instrument plugins to get you started, including some synth and sample-based plugins.

If you wish to use 32-bit plugins, launch the 32-bit version of Digital Performer from this path: OS (C:) > Program Files (x86) > MOTU > Digital Performer 8. For Windows Users: There are separate 32-bit and 64-bit versions of DP8.
